Does anyone have the new Red Hot Chili Peppers CD, "By the Way"? I heard distortion whenever I play the first track, "By the Way." It seems to be this track only. I don't have a CD player, I use my computer. But I hear the distortion through my speakers as well as through my headphones. Like I said, I have only noticed in on the first track. Anyone else notice it?

I haven't had this problem with my copy. I've listened to it in my car cd-player, computer cd-rom drive, as well as MP3's I've made by ripping it.

Sounds (no pun intended) like you've got a defective disc.

BTW (again, no pun intended) , what does the distortion sound like? is it excessive highs, clipping, clicking, cutting out, or overmodulation?
