I first saw this picture about 4 years ago. From what I understand from the article that originated with it (the article never gets circulated, only the picture) there had been some trouble at the store involving a weapon, and this was after the resulting response, when everything had settled down. It still makes a funny picture, though.

I once finish a PM call in Houston late one night or early morning, stop at a Exxon station that has a mini store, there was at least 8-Houston police officers standing around near the fresh donut case & all the donuts was gone....I said "Whoooaaaa Weeeee, who ate up all these donuts".....seven of these cops looked at me in a unGodly look, thinking to myself, I guess I shouldn't have said that!!! Then the 8th cop said, "we are not eating donuts, we're having a beer" !! I laughed, said I was just joking & went on about my business.....funny how cops don't have a sense of humor !!! or at least seven of them didn't !!!

I'm guessing that cops hear the donut joke so many times that it is about as unfunny to them as when people go up to a projectionist and say "so you get to sit up there and watch all of the movies, that must be real hard".
