I was struck by an expensive touch of 'Senior Moments' yesterday. Here is what happened. I was not able to go to Costco to buy a DVD copy of the "LORD OF THE RINGS" until late yesterday afternoon. Beside the DVD, I picked up a drug prescription for my mother and a gallon of skim milk and orange juice and placed them all in a shopping cart. After I paid for the items, I remember placing the milk and the juice in the car and my mother's drugs was in my pocket and I assumed I had also put the DVD in the car. WRONG! After I got home and took the stuff I bought out of the car, I discovered there was no DVD. You guessed it. I forgot to take the DVD out of the cart and someone got my DVD of "LOTR" at my expense. Well, it's time to make another trip to Costco tomorrow and buy another copy.

Yes, but focus on the bright side here, Claude. Think of how *happy* you made that person!

Do you think the Pope will make me a Saint one day, John?

Also, think about how, in the time that you would have spent watching LORD OF THE RINGS, you can watch two good movies instead.

Exactly as the title of the play by William Shakespeare, "ALL's WELL THAT ENDS WELL" is what had hapened when I thought I had noting to lose by calling Costco and ask if any of the boys who collect shopping carts from the parking lot had found and turned in my DVD of "LORD OF THE RING". I did not expect a positive answer but to my surprise, the DVD was found and turned in. I was asked to bring in the receipt which I still have and they will give me the DVD. In my opinion, Costco is the best and that is why I shop there. Sorry Brad for that commercial endorsement but I just want everyone to know how well Costco take care of their customers

I see that the term "senior moments" is more universal than I thought. We say that down here in The Bahamas, too. We also give interesting traffic directions...

Well Claude...since you didn't intentionally leave the DVD for someone else, I'd say sainthood isn't in the works for this deed. However, the person who returned it to the store...

Glad to hear it all turned out well, and I'm very surprised. It's nice to know there are truly honest people out there.
