Looks like I'll be putting in some miles over the next couple of months (about 300 miles between Hollywood and Las Vegas).

AUG 22: Sleeping Beauty in 70mm Technirama 6-track mag at the El Capitan! Along with the short Grand Canyon.

And SEP 20 is going to be a long day:

Lawrence of Arabia in 70mm DTS at the Cinerama Dome!

Spirited Away (not 70mm) at the El Capitan!

Yeeeehaaaaaa!

According to the distribution rep for Sony classics, the LOA print at the dome will be a 6-track mag one (some were made to accomodate non-DTS 70mm venues, although according to the Arclight tech page, the Dome does have DTS).

Is SPIRITED AWAY a 70mm release?

Oops. Spirited Away is either 35mm or DLP, EX and ES. I edited my post to make that clear.
