"More than 1.1 million votes were cast when TiVo subscribers voted
with their remotes last week in honor of the 74th Annual Academy
Awards. "Lord of the Rings" took the Best Picture prize with 44% of
the vote, followed by 36% for "A Beautiful Mind" and 11% for "Moulin
Rouge." Russell Crowe championed the gender-neutral Best Performer
category with 26%. Denzel Washington came in second with 14% and
Nicole Kidman was third with 13%. Each household was allowed five
votes per category."
