SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Reuters) --
The massive security at the Winter Games could be put to the test Thursday when a delegation arrives in an unusual fashion. Intergalactic visitors are expected in the early evening, according to a woman who claims to have had "multiple visitations" by the aliens.

And you thought the hub-bub over the Canadian thing was something....

First thing is we give the aliens a ride on a skeleton and then they will know we are nuts and leave us alone.

Heck, they probably watched it on television last night and turned the ship around.

Who knew that aliens were winter sports fanatics? I can see it now, an intergalactic curling tournament.

Dave try going down the bobsled run head first on a small sled you cab barely fit onto at 85mph next time you're up at olympic village. Thats whats known as the Skeleton. I think we may have won the gold for it too, but not 100% sure.

Yep, Shea of US won the men's (that 3rd generation Winter Olympian).

I was thinking, did this guy in GA misunderstand when he heard that "skeleton" would be contested in Salt Lake?

Americans also won 1 & 2 in the Women's division. Silver medalist is from a town very close to Columbus OH called Granville. She is a firefighter there. Lots of pride in that small town right now

I just watched a replay of Shea's skeleton run.

DAMN WE ARE CRAZY...

I would give a dozen gold medals just for attempting that damn thing. IF it doesnt kill you, you are a god.

Bob, did you ever see the Martian Chronicles? I saw one dude in the theater today that looked like the martian that was driving the sand ship.

He was not carrying a particle gun, though.

Shortly thereafter, we had an irate person who must have been released by the aliens. I think they forgot to remove the anal probe before they set him free.
