Brad,
I was looking at a Disney discussion board at www.disboards.com. It appears to run on similar software that this board does, but the forum there has two very useful buttons on each topic: "Go to last post" and "Go to first new post."

Any possibility of those buttons being added here? Would really be useful if they could be. Just a thought.

I don't think that board is UBB like this one. There are tons of UBB knock offs and that is one of them. Notice it uses PHP instead of CGI (Perl script). If UBB came out with a board that uses PHP, then I sure don't know about it. In theory the UBB board could easily do this, it's just a matter of them incorporating those features into their next update. Your Disney board is exactly the same as my DV board that I visit. What I really like about it is that it sets a cookie and you don't have to type in your name and password each time you make a post or visit the site. Just as long as you use the same computer and browser you are set. I'm not sure, but I'm betting that those boards are "vBulletin" boards.

The makers of the UBB will never again update this program. They have found it more profitable to release a hosted forum program and the only stand-alone "ubb" has been completely re-written and I do not like the way it was done. All updates have to come from me analyzing the code and wondering what legitimate commands and syntax Perl allows. Not knowing ANYTHING about Perl, this does take me quite a bit of time. Even the hack to add member's individual pictures took me the better part of 3 months (off and on) to figure out how to make it work.

Anyone know Perl?
