Samuel Z. Arkoff, co-founder of American International Pictures, has died at age 83.

Shed a tear for this unsung giant of the big screen.

May every drive-in have a monument in his memory.

As one who ran most of the AIP library on TV, I will miss him and his vision. We need more like him today.

Even though they were silly by todays standards, they were entertainment!
Todays standards are why I rarely see any new films!

Mr. Arkoff will go down in history as a legend of the industry.
