On a similar vein, check out this past Sunday's (July 29, 2001) comic of Russell Myers' "Broom-Hilda":

Kind of irritating the way these comics sorta imply that the theatres are at fault for the sticky-ness, when it's really the sloppy patrons!

Whadda' ya' mean? Don't ALL theatres have drums full of "sticky stuff" that they apply to the floors each night?

And after years of build up, when a nice think layer is built up it is harvested and treated to make it far less sticky and made into PTR rollers.

Jason said: "And after years of build up, when a nice think layer is built up it is harvested and treated to make it far less sticky and made into PTR rollers."

The PTR film cleaning rollers sold by FPC are made from pure polyurethane, and not recycled CineMuck. Must be a different brand.

I bet when they scrape the floors to harvest the CineMuck, the ceiling gets higher!

Isn't that how the first stadium seating was invented? They just kept moving the chairs to the top of the heap.
