Howdy to all! I am home for a day or so...many questions to answer however, several people did answer for me! Thanks!!! First, Mike, the stuff is going out tomorrow!! Sorry about the delay! Mike I am sorry I did not see you either, I hope the fireworks were great!! Brad, thanks for the comments. Mark, I do carry a laptop, (In fact a rather upscale new one!) However, I find that motels with poor pbx operations can be rather troublesome to the computer world! Thus, I generally will stop in at a local library or use a hotel computer to check my emails. I find myself getting too wrapped up in surfing while I am at home, thus it is nice to take a break from the mini-screen whiule I am out on the road! As for customer contact, most of them are quite understanding of my situation and work very well with me! (THANKS TO ALL!) And in all truth, I usually do not feel like doing anything but resting after 5-8 hours of driving and the additional work time on the road, and do take time for more simple pleasures like visiting and socializing with the many friends (theatre & non theatre) I have on the road. I guess I do not consider the computer to be a life sustaining part of me, but merely a fun and enjoyable means to socialize casually. Of course, the main purpose of my laptop is for work means, thus it has no games, or other things that are not necessary for doing my job. It has a modem, but frankly, I have not persued the portable internet connections for the previously stated reasons. I do however, carry a cell fone that works in most areas of the six states I regularly travel, and both the cell fone as well as the main office have answering devices that I check with! So, I hope no one is offended by the relaxed nature I handle computers. I do answer emails when on the road, however proiblems with the server do happen and I do not use a generic email system. Thanks to all for the comments! keep 'em coming!

I guess I started the whole flame-fest when I stated that John doesn't have a portable computer. So now we find out that he DOES have one. I just assumed he didn't because he sometimes uses my office machine to check his e-mail! (Since we have one of the 2-drawer DTS units, he doesn't need to bring in his laptop to service our system.)

So, sorry about that, John. 20 lashes with a wadded-up strip of used Film-Tech media for me. I'll buy you a beer next time you're in town (like I needed an excuse to do THAT!)
