Author Topic: Cast Away aspect ratio? Charles Everett Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1470 From: New Jersey Registered: May 2001 posted 07-07-2001 11:54 AM                     Cast Away was in a 1.85 aspect ratio in its theatrical version. Today I casually browse a local shop and see Cast Away is in a 2.35 aspect ratio on DVD. This isn't the first time they've mislabeled the aspect ratio on DVDs, and it probably won't be the last. BTW - Rumor has it that the DVD also claims it has an EX soundtrack....that is also a typo - it is not EX encoded.  |  IP: Logged
