It would have been spookier had John posted the follow up exactly 10 years later to the minute.

It was really funny...I searched for an old New Year's greeting thread and it was the first one I clicked on. I can hardly even remember posting that first one.

Spooky indeed. [thumbsup]

Happy New Year to all of our film friends throughout the world.
We had a great New Years Eve watching movies in our home theatrette. Wall.E (screened it many sessions but just caught it on Blu-Ray - wonderful.

"Merry New Year!" .. What's gonna happen in this year within this industry?

True, Ian:

"Let's all go to the Drive-In..
Let's all go to the Drive-In
Let's all go to the Drive-In
To get ourselves a treat"

Onnellista uutta vuotta. That's happy new year for all non-Finnish speakers. And troubling as it is, we don't have drive-in's here. Always wanted to experience that. Or beer and hot dogs in cinema. Here? No food, no alcohol allowed.

For this year, may your customers' willingness to spend their money on good things be greater than last year.

(And may your statistics make you as happy as Avatar's second weekend made me.)
