Please bare with me as my question pertains to an actor who was mainly in television, but in some feature films.

1960's actor David Macklin has nearly 200 TV show credits to his name. But the IMDB only lists only a fraction of them.

How might I go about finding a COMPLETE list of his acting credits?

Thanks, Mike

Hello Alan,

I know about the IMDB (I mentioned it in my original post). But it only lists roughly 1/4-1/3 of Macklin's acting credits. Do you know of another source that is more complete?

You might want to try IMDB pro.

IMDB Pro is not going to have more credits than public IMDB.

I counted 85 unique credits on his page. I guess I have to ask, how do you know for a fact (as opposed to hearsay) that he has 200+ total credits? Is this substantiated by anything other than his claim?

Mark,

David Macklin had his own website up until about 3 months ago (he died). It stated that he had "nearly 200 TV and movie credits".

I can see how a lot of an actor's jobs not get listed as numerous series in the 1960s went into the film vaults after the series got cancelled at the networks and eventually the episodes get chucked into the trash. Some TV series some of us grew up with is lost for this reason.
