Our local concessions distributor is being bought out and closed down. VISTAR is taking over.
Anybody have any Pros or Cons?
Any other recommendations here in the South/SouthEast?

I'm in Northern California and have been using Vistar for close to 10 years. Mostly a positive experience aside from the occasional issue which is typical for this type of vendor. They have been pretty responsive to special orders and bringing in new items.

I always liked continental concessions when I dealt with them in the southeast.

We've had Vistar for a few years now. Pretty fine for the most part. Every once in a while we'll get a box that's just DECIMATED to the point of wondering "How the actual fack??"

They'll take it back though. Oh and if there's a new driver or a sub or something, they regularly screw up turning the building alarm which isn't great but somewhat expected. And I guess they've banged up some corners with the pallets, but we've since put up stainless steel cornering.

In the grand scheme, I don't find myself complaining about them much at all.

Always pleased with Continental. Prices on par and great service. David Boles was our salesman here in Texas. Great guy, very responsive.

Vistar is great, best concession company i've dealt with. Always on time, has a good chain of command and rarely are there mispicks on the truck
