Julia Marchese has made a documentary about 35mm film, moviemaking, and (mostly) the New Beverly Cinema, though it includes a few bits and pieces from other theatres as well.

Includes interviews with: Edgar Wright, Kevin Smith, Joe Dante, Rian Johnson, Mark Romanek, Stuart Gordon, Joe Carnahan, John Landis, Patton Oswalt, Fred Dekker, Tom Holland, Seth Green, Richard Kelly and more…

She just sent me an email stating that Out of Print is now completed. It will be submitted to film festivals, and is available to be booked in theatres; she has a 35mm print, DCP, Blu-ray and DVD copies available.

Her website is here: http://iheartnewbev.com/index.html.

She put it up on Vimeo back when she first announced that she had been fired by the New Beverly. I watched the whole thing and really enjoyed it.
