Tonight we're showing Bike Smut 6: Turning Trixxx. It's basically naked people with hipsters for hipsters. I've seen a few 3D pornos at the Landmark Esquire in Denver over the years, and those have always been a hoot. Has anyone else had experience with this kind of thing? I thought about sending a personal invitation to Fred Willard! (ba-dum-ching!)

Judging by the trailer, I wouldn't call it porn.
It's too arty-farty for porn.

That's going to stick you in the middle between the prudes and the perverts. All the prudes are going to be outraged because you dared to show naked people on-screen. The perverts are going to think it sucks because it's not hard core enough for them.

If you have a lot of arty-farty types in your area you might draw from that population but my opinion is, "Meh..."

3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstacy was one to behold. Bit more of a comedy than anything else though to be honest.

From the "theatres opening/closing" thread

Maybe it'll start a trend.

'Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstacy' was more violence than sex and it was pretty bad, if you ask me.

I saw "the worlds first 3D porno" in the late 70s or possibly early 80s. One of the funniest things I've ever seen. The purpose of the 3D was, of course, like most 3D movies, to poke the viewer in the eye. You can figure out how that works.

Then just recently there was a billing for "the worlds first 3D movie" which I though was a bit odd. Now we live in the world of the Internet, a moments research showed that the movie I saw was not the first 3D porno either.

That was my first foray into a "proper" porno cinema, and indeed the last. It was everything I'd heard it would be, and more besides.

Somebody that actually pays $15 for a drink, popcorn, and candy please explain why when you can sneak in a 2 Liter, SmartCorn, and bag of candy inside a diaper bag/backpack for less than $5?
