Author Topic: Small Town Theatre "The Fiske" Gets Facelift Adam Holland Film Handler Posts: 66 From: Oak Grove, LA Registered: Nov 2007 posted 08-20-2012 04:01 AM                     Below is a link to the KNOE TV8 website who recently did a story about the renovations to the Fiske Theatre in Oak Grove, La. which is one of the last single screen theatres still in operation in Louisiana and to my knowledge one of two B.W. Good NEWS casting as it has "sequel" written all over it. Too often the media report history and that is not helpful to the promotion of projects like this. The young girl who came over to do the story did a great job. Yeah that was interesting... And the auditorium seemed to be very reverberant....I hope that sound treatments are part of the planned renovations. Now that seats have begun to be replaced beginning to sound alot better  |  IP: Logged
