1st Annual DITA Meet
night)Thursday (night)--Friday 3rdFriday (All Day) November 3rd--4th 20114th 2011

At the Galaxy DriveGalaxy Drive--In Theatre, Ennis (Dallas) Texas & Sysco TXSysco Dallas, Lewisville, TX

Here’s your opportunity to find out once and for all how digital projection (including DOLBY digital 3D) works at a drive-in, while also bumping shoulders with other drive-in theatre operators. Food, fun, friendship, and a couple days together with others who share your same interests and concerns. Learn how a basic digital setup works and some of the amazing optional “bells and whistles” available in top-line packages. Get the facts about VPFs. Find out how you can lease equipment. At this conference you can learn how to load and operate a digital projector. You can leave this conference not only knowing all about digital projection but you can also leave with a purchase (if that is your goal)! New or USED, with or without a warranty, with or without VPFs, by cash, credit, or lease, there will be vendors in attendance ready to make a deal with you for your theatre(s) so come prepared! Bring details on your screen measurements, throw, and whether you are 3-phase or single phase. Experts will help you narrow down exactly what you need to illuminate your screen(s). You don’t have to commit to anything. In fact, you can choose to stay with 35mm film and simply sit back and laugh at the other attendees who opt to make arrangements to convert!
If you can only make it down for ONE DAY, make that day the Friday 11/4 session!

 Thursday evening (11/3) “Meet and Greet” with other attendees

 Friday (11/4 ALL DAY) Vendor presentations/discussions from concessions to digital projection.

Martin... It was good to meet you several weeks ago when you stopped by the Stardust on the way to Gatlinburg,TN. I'll be flying out of Nashville on 11/3 to attend the DITA Digital Conference in Dallas. Looking forward to seeing some fellow drive-in operators and hopefully final get to meet Mr. Film-Tech himself.

Is there a written agenda for what's happening when and where? I'll be staying at a different hotel (cheaper rates) and wanted to make sure I didn't miss something.

Barry: Great to hear you are coming. The response from theatre operators has been very good...and the response from vendors and other industry leaders has been overwhelming! We have got more than a full-boat of top sales, tech, and financial people on our agenda for the digital program; so, I am busy trying to coordinate the schedule. Not to forget the people Martin mentioned for much of the morning session (representing Cretors, Sysco, and ProSTAR Inds.) either! This DEFINITELY will be a conference that many independent indoor AND outdoor theatre owners will be kicking themselves for not attending! We have more speakers than what Martin posted and it is an amazing list of people who will endeavor to give answers to the questions that indie operators have. Suffice it to say, 8am to 5pm on Friday (11/4/11) you want to be at the Sysco Dallas facility in Lewisville, TX. [Smile]

Barry, it was good to finally meet you at your drive-in, nice place BTW, will look foward to seeing you and all the other operators in Dallas. As Justin said this is going to be a lot bigger than we originally planned, but that is good.

Also just for fun Friday night we will bring out the General Lee, Rosco's patrol car and the Bandit Trans-Am to the drive-in for those that want their pictures taken in them.

See you there.
