Our marquee is looking rather haggard. Since many of our letters have been hobbled over the years by bad weather and mishandling, I've had to resort to zip-tying some of them to the marquee face. Aesthetically, this looks about as bad as it sounds.

I've been lobbying for new letters for a while now. Unfortunately, the cost of replacement is prohibitive. We use Snap-Lok letters (both the 17" translucent red variety and the 6" black). Every distributor that I've talked to prices them at around $25 apiece, as they are made to order, and the only break that we can possibly get on a bulk purchase is on shipping costs.

The cost of replacing the necessary letters would be over $1000, and I'd like to think that we could get a whole new set of a different brand for that kind of money. Has anyone had any luck finding cheaper alternatives to Snap-Lok brand marquee letters?

Just for clarity, it appears the 6" letters are priced around $7 ea. It's the larger 17" letters that are closer to $25.
