Good grief. This is in 3D now too? Since when?

Is there a list of which (if any) movies coming out recently or in the near future that are actually shot (or rendered in the case of CGI) in 3D vs. shooting (or rendering) one eye and then faking the other eye? Maybe that info is available somewhere, but I don't know where it is. I'd really like to see that info in one place here if we could figure that out. I'm assuming this movie was NOT shot in 3D. Can anyone confirm?

Looks like another post-production conversion.

After the recent scuttlebutt concerning the 3D conversation of Titans, I couldn't help but notice the trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife proudly proclaims the movie was "Filmed with the James Cameron/Vincent Pace Fusion Camera System," then boasted this system is "the world's most advanced 3D technology."

I'm betting we'll never have to ask ourselves again "Was this filmed for 3D or converted to 3D?" ever again. Those who filmed in 3D will proudly boast it. So, for that, we can thank Titans.

It was not filmed in 3D it is being converted to 3D.
It was recently decided to make it 3D and it will keep the same release date.
Pretty decent article about it below

Just a sign that the movie probably sucks.

More 3-D screens are coming but, there still will not be enough to cover every film. You have Toy Story 3, Airbender and Despicable Me all within a month of each other.

Toy Story 3 is a "must see" movie for me. Despicable Me might be good if the comedy is dark enough. I have no desire to see The Last Airbender. It looks kind of silly. If memory serves correct, M. Night Shyamalan hasn't had a hit since Signs and even that movie was a bit silly in how it ended.

M. Night's flop-to-hit ratio is getting worse with every release. I wonder how long it'll be before his name stops appearing above the title. This looks like the "Titans" of the summer to me.

This was actually started months ago, they looked at what was done before deciding if they were going to go all the way with it. They stated that they didn't want to do a Clash.
