Hi Folks:

Does Dale Davidson still operate theatres in Northern California? I don't even remember the name of his two companies.

Whet ever became of Howard Tarromino (spelling?). He also ran quite a few theatres in Northern California before going broke and dissapearing.

Dale is working for Metropolitan Theatres in L.A. CinemaCal is long gone... only one or two of his Galaxy theatres remain.

Last I heard Howard is doing film booking on the East Coast somewhere. I worked in one of his theatres and they are what got me taking pictures of theatres everywhere I went. I was an Asst Mgr at the Washington Square in Petaluma and went to all of Howard's theatres and took pictures just to prove to my staff that we weren't an exception, all the theatres were a little bit funky. [Smile]

I remember seeing your name on the phone lists... what did you do for Howard?

Hi Scott:

Interesting my name was on a phone list. I never worked for Howard although I did meet him in 1993. I worked at the Belmont Theatre at the time. Howard came by to see the property as it was on the market.

I also worked at the Ukiah 6 in Ukiah. Visited the Washington Square Theatre in 1997 to see some modern day blaxploitation film.

I don't recall knowing anyone who worked for him.
