Having read all the responses in the thread about all the midnight sellouts, I'm curious to know how the film performed subsequent to that.

We've experienced steady business since the opening, (running four prints) but no sold out shows. Is this another front-loaded tentpole release, or will we see some legs with repeat business?

Warner Bros is looking for $180 mill for the first seven days, but what about after that? Has this cow already been milked?

I am very curious what the response will be when the IMAX version finally opens this weeK. How well it does or does not should tell us pretty much what the public thinks about the format especially the digital version.

Our biggest crowd so far was the midnight show but we've had decent crowds nightly. We had our county fair in town this weekend so having a half-full house is still good -- I've had a lot of people tell me they're coming to the show next weekend. (They must have heard that Gulbrandsen is coming this week to tune-up our system!) [Big Grin]

We've done solid business, but no sellout. We have two prints with a total of seven shows per day. We normally only run one print and if we had just one print of Potter we would be near to sold out every show. Still, business is up significantly from the last Potter which we only ran one print.

We have had solid business for matinee and 7pm shows, however our late show on Friday and Saturday is nothing to write home about. The midnight showing was by far our best crowd. No complaints over all though. See how it pans out in the end!

No sellouts, but solid business, which has made concessions crowds much easier to serve.

By comparison, "Transformers" was a total zoo out here. 3 days in a row, we were hanging cars off the nearest tree limbs.

4 prints, 11 shows a day, and its done crap (133 total tickets today). We sold out 3 screens for the midnights. But then again we are kind of a crappy theatre surrounded by new theatres.

Still doing quite nicely here. We might actually see an increase this week because we had our county fair last week which was very busy every night of the weekend.
