Just this week, front page headlines of the local paper announced a new 10 screen indoor theatre broke ground and expects to be up and running by Spring of '04. Those new theaters cost a lot of money to build so naturally ticket & concession prices will be high. Also the new theater will likely be running tons of those tv commercials before the feature. We are building a new theater in the mall in Columbus, IN. Tiny place, but so far it looks nice, not even close to getting to the interior, but the design sure does beat our movie theater. We'll probably lose customers, fresh theater, stadium theater, most likely better projection and sound system. Who knows, time to wait and see... I'll be sure to grab some photos of the place sometime soon.
