Independent Marketing Edge has unveiled a new website and is offering free access for a "limited time." (Not sure how limited!) There is a WEALTH of information there - if you are not a subscriber, check it out while you can. It's worth the bucks for us.

Ahhh the scoreboard brings back some memories. I used to have BINDERS of those things in my office. Back when I first started it was the only way we could find out if a movie we were getting was Scope or Flat or was available in digital. Our corporate office told us nothing.

Oops, sorry about the mis-spell. I'll fix my link so it'll work too.

The chain I work for subscribes to that. I also print out the Scoreboard, and have a copy for the box cashiers when they get inquireys of upcoming movies. I use it for trailer placement. We use the quarterly book they mail out for data on the art (limited release) movies.

Steve,
They have a link on their site for you to "sign up" for their "free trial" (although to access the free stuff you don't need to). I went thru the "sign up" procedure pages yesterday and the last page tells you about the regular prices and fees once your "free trial" is up. It was quite expensive.. espeically for 6 months at a time.

But Barry the questions remains what is the actual cost for the six months? I want to join but I'm sure my company will not cover the cost and don't want to bother with the trial if I can't afford the real deal.

Ron - why not? Keep in mind that right now you can explore the whole website WITHOUT signing up for the free trial. You have until the end of April to do that.

Thanks mike that is what I'm doing at this time!

I wouldn't worry about it and would just join if I thought there was a snowballs chance in hell I could get a reimbursement from the company I work for for the membership.

This outfit publishes a yearly buyer's guide. Pretty good work, it sure impressed me.
