We're in need of various supplies that I've not had to order since taking over management. Things like splice and cue tape. Does anyone know of a good (and cheap!) place to pick these kinds of things up at?

We also need pricing on LTIX-2000W Xenon bulbs (according to the old packaging we have available). Not sure if we could get both types of supplies from the same vendor or not...

Thanks!

Several of us here sell this kind of equipment. We are nearby: Hadden Theatre Supply in Louisville 502-499-0050.

There are others! Louis

I have found Louis and Hadden Theatre Supply to be very fair, professional, and competitive in pricing, service, and responses to inquiries.

I highly recommend him/them. An honorable supplier.

Louis is so honerable that I KNOW he will steer you to a more reliable lamp than those oogy LTI's!

FWIW: Several hours ago in Hardin, Montana I removed a Superior Quartz 2kw lamp that was at 15,599 hours. It had been running in a Big Sky Lamphouse. So you may want to consider purchasing their lamps.

Louis was great every time I had to deal with him when I worked back in Michigan for Goodrich.

Yea, stay away from LTi bulbs and you'll be a lot better of a happy camper. Louis will prob set you up with some better bulbs than that horrible brand... - Monte

Do you have a service contract or an ongoing relationship with a company that services your theatre (sound alignments, etc.)? If so, why not buy parts through them? If not, you probably should establish such a relationship ASAP and get someone out to look over your equipment and see what, if anything, might need to be repaired or upgraded.

You can order splicing tape and such directly from Neumade, but it isn't any cheaper than it would be through a dealer.

Agreed about the LTI bulbs--the cost per hour of operation will be far lower with other brands (I like Osram).
