Author Topic: Exhibiting Spanish Subtitled Films? Charles Wierdsma Film Handler Posts: 7 From: Greeley, CO, USA Registered: Apr 2007 posted 07-11-2007 12:30 AM                    Was curious if anyone has tried marketing and running these? Despite not being in English, the film did rather well - there were certainly many other people in the cinema when I saw it. It doesn't really matter how many people in the area speak Spanish, it depends on how good the film is! The question is, would non-Spanish speakers be prepared to read the subtitles all the way through the film? Reading subtitles on a TV screen isn't so bad, but having to glance down to the bottom of a big cinema screen every couple of seconds is a bit demanding...
