A Friend who recently moved back to the St. Louis area said that he heard the lacal circuit Wherrenburg (sp?) Theatres is bieng sold to A.M.C. I found this a little hard to believe as I would think A.M.C. is still busy digesting the Loews Cineplex chain. Wehrenberg Theatres is not for sale and has not been sold. Wehrenberg is a growing family business with three theatres under construction. I am not suprised I did not think it was the case. I visited the St. Louis area a few years ago and had the opportunity to visit a Wehrenberg Theatre and was very impressed with the quality of the presentation.
