Happy Feet For fun, I'm adding our top 10 of all time (beginning in 1979 when I bought this theatre). Again, this is based on ticket numbers, NOT dollars. 1. E. T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) 2. Titanic (1997, played here in March 1998) 3. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) 4. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) 5. Shrek 2 (2004) 6. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) 7. Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (2002) 8. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) 9. The Lion King (1994) 10. Of course, there's always some places movies just don't work. I think its biggest problem was it was about NASCAR racing. Normally box office poison in Australia. The only reason CARS did so well was it was a PIXAR film.
