On Sunday mornings we rent our one-screen theatre to the Alpine Chapel, a fundamentalist church group, while they search for a permanent place to have their services. Sometimes this is quite an interesting juxtaposition when we're showing films like "Brokeback Mountain," "Night Watch" or "Transamerica" later that day. Wonder what they'd do if we showed "The Last Temptation of Christ"?

Anyone have any interesting four-wall stories?

At a very popular 24 screener in Florida, we had a Hebrew service and a Muslim service on the same Saturday mornings. Then on Sundays we had a Baptist, a Catholic, and a Jehovah Witness services all in the building at the same time. During the week we ran Hindi movies.

Proving that we all can really get along.

I saw the movie "Bubble Boy" on a Sunday right after the audtorium had been cleared out from a church group that rented it for a public church service. That made all the jabs at religion in that movie even funnier; I'm sure many of the churchgoers would have been horrified to know about the movie that was showing right after their service.

Midnight showing of Inside Deep Throat that got after sometime around 1:45am and we found a drunk in the front row passed out around 2am with beer all around him. We had to carry him out. That was Saturday Night and our 10am church group that held in the other auditorium had the youth group kids play in the front of the theatre that this guy was passed out in. Passed Out Boozing/Porn Man and Church Kiddies. I loved that juxtaposition
