Hi Folks:

Here's a question for Carl Martin or Eric Hooper. Does the Toccinni (spelling?) family of Santa Rosa still operate these two theatres? Just curious.

Thanks,
Mike

I do believe that Dan Tocchini (dba North American Cinemas) does still run the Rheem. Can't say I know anything about the Elmwood.

I`d sure like to know more history on the Elmwood. I`m 83 years old and the theatre was there before I was in my teens; indeed it was old then. It was called the Strand. A dump when I was a kid. I think the Berkeley Theatere was built some time around the World War One but the Strand could have been older.
The Tocchini`s have been around forever, starting in Sebastopol, if there`s a Dan Tocchini now he must be Dan the tenth.
