Has anyone had any dealings with the Screen Advertising World Association? What exactly do they do?

Haven't heard of SAWA, but the Cinema Ad Council is developing technical standards for on-screen ads, including sound levels:

The Cinema Advertising Council, www.cineamadcouncil.org, develops a set of standardized cinema advertising practices making it easier to incorporate cinema advertising into any marketing plan. The Cinema Advertising Council guidelines and methodology assist marketers in promoting their products and/or services while respecting moviegoer's expectations for an entertaining movie going experience.

SAWA have been around for at least 40 years. It is the world association of screen advertising companies. Val Morgan have been a member since at least the 1960's. SAWA may go back even further as here in Australia we have had on-screen advertising since the WW1 era.
