What are your policies on looking for lost items in a theatre from a previous show while a current show is running? I had a customer lose a cell phone and I would not disrupt the movie to look for it as the seat and row she was in was full. Finally she agreed and at show out she returned and I gave her the cell phone. Then her boyfriend called me screaming about being an asshole and threatening me. I simply expained that while I don't want anyone unhappy, I would rather it be one instead of 25 that had there show interupted. What are your thoughts.

I would ask for her cell phone number and call it while standing in the back of the theater. If I heard it ring, I would hang up immediately and tell her as soon as the credits hit I would call it again and find it. If it didn't ring, then it wasn't in there and she should keep looking in other places.

This of course assumes the phone wasn't set on vibrate mode, but we all know very few moviegoers are courteous enough to do that. [Wink]

If I can sneak in kinda discretely and hunt around than I will, but if its a no go...than its a no go.

They can stay and wait for the show to end, they can call after the show ends...I can try and call them after the show ends, they can come back the next day if they want. Im very flexible, but you arent the center of the world.
