I received 1 scope trailer for "Passion of the Christ (Re-cut)" today. I haven't run it to see what the deal is though. Does anyone know anything about this?

It's a reissue of the movie, edited into a more family-friendly format. It's going to be released on March 11, unrated, but supposedly is equivalent to a PG-13. Reportedly it's going to be a smaller release, 700 or less screeens. There is a website, www.passionrecut.com .

There's another thread about it somewhere so this one should probably be locked.
