Does any theater use these. See lots more older and handicap people thes days. I rather have it only open when coming in, not going out, not sure on local laws with that. What are you thoughts on these types of doors.

That would be pretty cool. If you have manual doors, however, holding the door open for someone is excellent customer service and will make people think highly of you and reccommend you to their friends.

I've only ever seen one theatre with supermarket style opening doors. What might be more practical for a theatre would be the push button handicap access doors. They operate manually just like any other door, however, if someone presses a button, the door slowly opens automatically.

That would be real useful for people with armloads of concessions trying to get in the theater. Tricky thing would be making it either transparent, not, or partly, due to light coming in, sound, etc, depending on where the doors are located on the theater.
