Anyone else have their prints delievered elsewhere today? Technicolor stated that mine woudl be delivered as ewarly as 0700 TOMORROW. The prints wound up in Florida somehow. Probably at a drive in that isn't even operational due to the recent hurricanes.. [Roll Eyes]

Oh, and they included letters about the new reels (orange-imagine that!). Yeah Technicolor for addressing an issue that's been a MAJOR concern for, oh, about 7 years now.. [Frown]

Our print of Ladder 49 arrived (at the right place) yesterday. We never get prints earlier than Thursday morning so I was a little surprised.

Technicolor actually called around 11 pm wanting to know if we received our 1 print of Shark Tale. We told them no, we received 4 prints like we were supposed too.

Gotta wonder!

The new orange reels are OK. Let's see how they stand up after being taken apart 100 times though.

They made a big deal out of one orange reel per print of SHARK TALE, but we got a print in a couple of weeks ago that was all on the new orange reels. Not sure what title it was though.

Hearing all you guys state that you get prints on Wed. makes me want to [puke] .

There is simply NO REASON, barring late print striking, that prohibits us from getting the prints on Wed's also. Why in the name of God our film buyers don't get with the program and request Wed delivery is beyond me. Maybe it's all the bootlegs running around that were filmed from a handheld videocamera in my theatre... [Roll Eyes]

Nothing to get excited about regarding the new orange reels. Although I found the accompanying letter quite humerous.

We are hopeful this design feature will help eliminate injuries caused by reels detaching from the core.
Rachel, they found out about your little booth fiasco some years ago... [Big Grin]
