Those annoying copy protection code spots only annoy people watching the movie, they don't phase copy pirates one bit. Proof, someone at a place I recently worked at (non-theater) told me that she watched movies at a friends house on DVD before release to theaters. Instead of annoying paying movie goers the studios need to stop providing pre-release copies that seem to become a source for pirates.

Very true, and we all agree without exception. But this topic has been discussed many many times before. Feel free to resurrect another thread about it after doing a search on the forums. Search for "Piracy" "CAP code" and/or "Crap code".
