Cinema Stages Naturist Screenings

1 Mar, 2004, 9:44

Getting bums on seats at a cinema in Cambridgeshire has taken on a whole new meaning.

Monthly shows for naturists at the Grand Cinema in Ramsey are growing in popularity. Naked movie fans come from all over the country.

Numbers are growing as word spreads about the shows.

Organiser Nick Haddon told Anglia News, "The first event we had 30 to 40 in...just a film show for some friends to socialise, have a few drinks and a chat and get on with it. There's precious few opportunities for them in the area. They're charged exhorbitant rates, especially when it comes to swims and the like. They just come along and have a good time."

Feel sorry for the ushers that have to clean up after that show. Imagine someone getting up to go to the concession, or even worse coming back from the bathroom... [puke]

I would think that a naked person would be far less likely to spill that ice cold drink in their lap, so the clean up would be easier.

The human body is a beautiful thing, God did not make trash, so why are we so ashamed of our bodies?

Well Bruce, that's a relative thing. Some "bodies" are much more "beautiful" than others. Hubba Hubba! [beer]

I can't buy into the nudist theatre night out thing. The vision of all those bare asses squishing Monkey Butt Cream into the seats isn't a pretty picture...especially for the clean-up crew... YUK!

We had a group inquire about having "naked night" in the balcony occasionally. They were turned down because there was no way to screen them from the front third of the downstairs. They bring towels to cover seats, etc.

Yes, we don`t want "member" pictures. In some cases, like Phil H., it would be difficult to deliver "member" pictures anyway, since not all cameras on the market have a micro focus option...hahaha
Seriously now, since it is the style of this forum to have true names and member pictures, I really think everyone who posts here regularly (100+ posts) should provide a member picture, and after all, some of the really unattractive dudes here on this forum like Joe Redifer and Paul Linfesty have member pictures, so what keeps you from submitting your pic?

Holy Macro-Lens Mike!

A bit of advice, don't mess with Joe. He will ban you.

I'm ALWAYS nice to him. I worship him and highly respect everything he says. He threatens to ban me if I don't.

I've met Bruce H. face to face.

He has a face, ears, etc. Just like all of us.

Too bad his ear is where his nose should be.

Bruce H., that certainly is more information than we all need to know. [Eek!]

BTW, my comment was in general, not anyone in particular. Not even chafed motorhertz riders. [Razz]
