OR, HOW NOT TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS

I've just heard from a friend who still lives in Honolulu, aka "Paradise Lost," who wrote the following...

"Wallace (at Restaurant Row) is going to stop running art films at its 9-screen house and will change to a 50-cent/$1 house running month-old mainstream flicks. That will leave only Varsity and the Art Academy running art/international fare. We stopped going to Wallace even before the art house biz, when it was fairly new, because your feet stuck to the floor."

You'd suppose that even a glorified hot dog stand would clean its floors occasionally. Yeech.

Nuff said.
