Wanted some info on theatres that have magazine/brochure racks for there patrons. What magazines do your theatres hand out? I have seen Cinestar & IFC. Pretty much, I want to know if they are worth it, do you end up picking up 20 magazines after every show or do people actually take these home? Also, do theatres get paid to have these for the patrons?

At our cinema we have racks of "Tribute" magazines. There's different ones, "Kids Tribute" "Teen Tribute" and regular plain old "Tribute". I know the staff reads them [Wink] And I'm sure quite a few do get picked up off the racks, but several always end up on the floor of the theaters at the end of the show. So in other words, I really don't know for sure how well they do. But it at leasts gives people something to look through before the show starts .... uh .... if they aren't looking at the slide show ads [Frown]
