Had a Visit form 20th Century Fox to check we were showing the requested trailers and that the show was ok! He watched the ad's and trailers then sat and watched the first 25 mins of the film. said the sound was fantastic and he was very impressed! (THX screen)
So beware if your not showing 'Die another day' and 'Minority report' trailers in the U.K.

I've had the checker here for the past two days in Minneapolis, but he has not yet gone into the auditorium. He's just counting heads as they go into the door.

Somehow I doubt that Fox would get very upset that you were not showing Die Another Day, an MGM film. Minority Report, yes, since that is attached (or 'hard-locked' as you euros like to call it).

Of course maybe Fox is handling the international distribution of Die Another Day. Anything is possible I guess.

Had a ticket cop in for the weekend. Love it because he helps clean the theatres.... And he has stayed for all the shows so far.

Minority Report was co-financed by Fox; it will be released through Fox in US/Canada and DreamWorks elsewhere. MGM moved its international distribution to Fox last year.

>>What is a ticket cop?<<

Same thing as a 'checker', one who visits theatres representing a given distributor and make sure the theatres are abiding by their contractual obligations...
