Ky Boyd Hey I'm #23 Posts: 314 From: Santa Rosa, CA, USA Registered: Jun 99 posted 09-25-2001 10:35 PM                       UA, Regal and Edwards seem to be in Anschutz hands, AMC is bidding for General Cinema as is Century, and Loews-Cineplex was in bankruptcy last time I checked. So does anybody know what's up with Cinemark? How are they faring in all this? Are they closing or disposing of theatres? They seem to have been strangely quiet during all this. Anybody know anything? We are building again, and hiring managers and stuff. Cinemark is holding strong. As with everyone, I'm sure, that we all try to keep payroll expenses as low as possible.
