Is anyone out there getting this movie this week or has it been moved again.....Not that I really care but come on we would have been playing this thing instead of playing a double feature of Animal and America's sweethearts.....has anyone heard when it will come out or go straight to video?

Glitter opens Friday (9/21). It's the only national release this week.

We've received somewhere around twelve trailers for Glitter, & we haven't placed any one of them. We've come to a consensus among all employees at our theater (except blonde concessions girls who listen to Mariah Carrey), that the movie looks terrible & only makes Mariah look like a stuck up brat.

Oh! It's so terrible to be a backup singer!

It's more terrible to not be getting Training Day this Friday!

I know of one theater that received in excess of 40 trailers for Glitter! (And no we're not talking about one of those 20 screen and over complexes.) The funny part is the booker did not program it into the trailer lists, so not a one of them ever got played there.

Megiddo comes out this week, although it may be limited.

Its the prequel to Th Omega Code.

Has anyone seen the rtailer for this?
It looks like the whole thing was shot on video and had a really bad film transfer.

Terrible.

I've seen it advertised, the only place brave enough to show it in the Minneapolis area is a Kerasotes Showplace theater.

Darryl: That double-up of The Animal and America's Sweethearts is a re-release.

James R: Megiddo is the sequel to The Omega Code and is going out limited. No theaters in the Northeast are showing it.

MGM also is re-releasing Legally Blonde as well this weekend.

I wasnt really sure what Megiddo was.
I dont remember where, but i read it was both a prequel and a sequel.
I just figured that they meant it took place before the events of the omega code, but was a sequel cause it came out afterwards.
but judging from the trailer, its obvious it takes place afterwards.
silly me.

Glitter breaks in 1196 theaters per the Box Office Guru. Not a limited release but not quite wide.

Brad: Yes, you read correctly. All the New Jersey megaplexes and the UA Union Square in NYC get Legally Blonde back tomorrow.

We got Legally Blond back also, only having lost it a couple of weeks ago. Even worse was getting Shrek back for the THIRD time. It wouldn't be so bad except we just broke it down last week! Airborne picked it up on Tuesday and we got a booking change on Wednesday saying we were getting it back. Argghhh.
