I know many of us vent in here when Technicolor or Airborne make mistakes and such but I just wanted to give them a well done for their operations this week.

We had a senior rental show scheduled for Wednesday with the print scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, so when the tragedy occured on Tuesday I spoke with the sponsor of the show who requested that we continue with the show. I then contacted Technicolor to check on the status of the print and if they were going to be able to get it to us for the show. They were extremely helpful and checked with airborne verifying that the print would still be coming, but airborne was bringing it ground but not to worry, it would still be there. It was there for the show. When Thursday came along, they were there with all of our prints for the weekend.

I just wanted again to compliment them on their good work during this difficult time.

We got our two prints not only on schedule, but ahead of schedule. I don't know how they did it!

Good job, TES. Better frame this compliment, it's a rare one!

Give Brad Carroll a call at (818) 562-8372, or e-mail at brad_carroll@technicolor.com . Brad is the Manager of Exhibitor Relations for TES, and probably needs a bit of cheer after a tough week of getting prints to theatres despite the air traffic control disruptions.

I'll admit, they've done a bangup job on delivery & pickup, but ETS still has them beat on their cans.

I'll take easy to open hard plastic over rusty metal cans that are covered with pre-existing shipping labels.
