Author Topic: Theater for Valley View Mall in Dallas.....? I heard rumors for a few years, and then no more than 18 months ago it was in the ad slick for General Cimema I believe, maybe AMC. "Coming Soon, ValleyView 10" or some such. But it sure isn't there now. Any of you industry higher-ups know what happened? JK  |  IP: Logged Jason Burroughs Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 654 From: Allen, TX Registered: Jun 99 posted 08-01-2001 02:06 PM                     AMC has wanted to build in the Galleria/Valley View area for years, they were supposed to build build one of their gigaplexes next to the Galleria, where the Chevrolet dealership is still, those plans fell through, next came the plan of building a theatre ON TOP of the Sears store at Valley View, from what I understand structural studies were done, but those plans have never materialized as well. With the state of the industry at this time, I'm pretty sure that they have been put in the rubbish bin  |  IP: Logged
