If you happen to book revivals, a good source of original release info on older titles is the Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB.com).

Show Biz Data www.showbizdata.com also has very complete listings of both national releases and stuff that opens in limited release, which isn't as widely covered. Downside is that it's a subscription site. Being in the arthouse biz, I find it helpful and worth it. Also since it's owned/operated by Exhibitor Relations, it tends to be up to date in terms of changes - some sites such as boxofficeguru. can lag in updating release date changes.

Upcoming Movies is a great site -- casting news, production notes, release dates/changes, video dates, etc. In fact, I found out about it from another post on Film-Tech!

FWIW, Film Releases has been affected by the events of 9/11.
