With less than one month to go, is anyone going to Orlando for the convention?

I'll probably go... but just for the trade show.... unless I scrounge up some nifty tickets from vendors. But I doubt that.

I'll be there. Primarily visiting friends on the trade show floor, and participating in the SMPTE Projection Technology Committee and Inter-Society meetings. Arriving early to attend Pat Moore's presentation on improving 35 mm projected film quality on Tuesday for the International delegates. Also plan to attend the TI Digital Cinema Seminar on Wednesday, and the Technical Seminar on Thursday.

John,

Get yourself a Kodak digital camera and send pics over. I'll post 'em.

How about the Pytlak-Cam! Put a web cam on him with a really long USB cable and do some video streaming. I would love to hear about it, I always try and catch some of the buzz from Film Journal.

I hear that I will be in attendance, but I haven't a clue as to what I can/will attend, etc., because I don't have any info on it. I'm very excited, though, this will be my first trade show!

I'm planning on going. How could I miss it? I live 100 miles away.

I've never been to Showeast, or West. Any words of wisdom are appreciated. I've attended other types of trade shows and am accustomed to the necessary time management to see and learn the most. But I'd love to hear what past attendees found valuable!

Ready Theatre Systems will be there, trade show booth #918, both Rob and myself.

Glad to see the location change, Orlando is much nicer in October than New Jersey.

This is my first time posting. I have been checking in regularly and reading many of the different topics. I am with a company called Globalmic and we manufacture the CineQ Booth Automation Systems. We will be at ShowEast booth 1317. I look forward to meeting many of you there.

I'm always interested in automation systems. Is there any literature online of your products?
