Based on the trailer and the premise of this movie, I wasn't expecting it to be up to much so I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it's a really nice movie, with lots of action and a feel-good ending (of course) that should have everyone smiling on their way out of the theatre.

A girl finds a Yeti on the roof of her apartment building in Japan and has to find a way to get him back to his family in the Himalayas, while a team of bad guys equipped with lots of gadgets chases them all the way there. The premise is really a stretch and, again, it doesn't sound like much, but the movie is a lot of fun and the artwork is very interesting with great scenery. There aren't a lot of straight-up jokes in it like the American-style cartoons have, but it's very light-hearted and entertaining and fun.

I enjoyed watching it.
