I love me a good comedy, and this is ... not one. It actually starts off pretty well with some good chuckles, and Will Farrell was obviously born to play Ron Burgundy. Pretty much everything else in the story seems tacked-on to his coattails.

Steve Carrell, who I'm usually a huge fan of, was my biggest disappointment in this movie. He did have a few funny lines but he was just annoying most of the time. The relationship (if that's what you want to call it) between Carrell and Kristen Wiig was borderline creepy.

One thing that was great was the music. The soundtrack plays like an '80s hits compilation. Although even that got a little annoying -- you would just be getting "into" a song and then it would cut off.

The movie seemed about 20 minutes too long. By the time of the big "fight" scene near the end, I was just falling asleep and waiting for the show to be over.

I hate when a movie lets me down in a major way, and this one did. 1 star out of 5 for me.

I subjected myself to the first film - I just cringed and thought the humor was insanely forced and unfunny - from the trailers alone, the second film looks more of the same and more migrane inducing. (thanks, but no thanks).
