Film: In the House
French with englisg subtitles
Viewer friendly 1:85

Greetings: Saw this fine French film last Saturday. Very engaging drama, with a little comedy here and there.

Fabrice Luchini and Kristin Scott Thomas are excellent as husband and wife.

Perfect for those longing for more sophisticated fare. Don't let the subtitles scare you off.

Mike

This new film from François Ozon (Swimming Pool, 8 Women) has been getting great reviews, I unfortunately missed it's week long run down at Landmark E Street (and the two screenings at FilmFest DC) but am glad to see that the Avalon theater is screening it one night next week - will definitely not miss it!
