CINEMA: Cobb Village 12, Leesburg, VA
AUDITORIUM: 5
PRESENTATION: 2K D-Cinema
PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: None.
RATING: Seven out of ten.

THE PLOT: Neglected tot finds little murderous gremlins in big house, yet nobody believes her. Does wackiness ensue? You betcha!

I don't know why people hated this film. I haven't seen the original, but I've enjoyed this remake for the most part. The plot was mostly predictable with surprising turns of points! In the end, it's decent enough.

Folks:

Unlike the 1973 film, this newer version lets the cat of the bag in the first 5 minutes! Thus there is no build up of tension & mystery! The filmakers must be braindead morons.

Now...habing said that...the movie was okay. It wasn't great, but it wasn't awfull. The CGI "creatures" were not impressive.

My gut instinct is to stick with the 1973 version. You can buy it on amazon.

Between the trailers and the opening scene, all mystery was gone. And the creatures looked like mini-Cloverfield monsters. The only suspense at all was who was going to live and who wasn't. 2/5
